Leafwize Believes in Using Reduced Packaging for Hemp CBD

The cannabis and Hemp/CBD industries are notoriously bad at creating a mountain of packaging waste for every product sold. Consumers end up immediately throwing away all extra outer packaging for jars & bottles and vape carts, and we find ourselves asking why they were needed in the first place? They can be nice as a luxury and subconsciously make you feel like the product you’re buying is more valuable even though the product is the same either way. But when you multiply one purchase across thousands of customers and thousands of companies, the mountain of waste gets bigger and bigger. It ads cost as well! Retailers must sell above their own costs so essentially, you’re being charged for all the paper and plastic you just threw away. It adds shipping cost as well, from the size and weight of your package to the ability to use an envelope over a box, size matters and as it gets bigger, it adds cost that gets passed along to you. This is why we prefer to use reduced packaging for hemp CBD, for our customers today and for a cleaner future.

We Believe in Reduced Packaging for Hemp CBD

Every Day is Earth Day

Leafwize believes in reducing our use of extra packaging wherever possible. We try to mitigate this excessive waste by reducing the boxes and outer plastic wrap and trying to make packaging as minimal as possible. Jars and bottles use tamper and freshness seals but no extra outer box is needed. Vape carts use a simple outer plastic that can be recycled. We use small sheets of bubble wrap for protection that we hope will be reused for your own needs.

We hope you’ll join us in our quest to save trees and reduce plastics and packaging that ends up as pollution or in landfills, all while saving everyone money at the same time. We encourage the entire industry to use reduced packaging for hemp CBD.
