Leafwize CBD Vape Cart Review

Leafwize Naturals has been a leader in the full spectrum CBD industry since 2018. Based in sunny Orange County, California, Leafwize Naturals has since expanded its CBD offerings to include everything from tinctures to distillate for cartridges – and have even added in other beneficial cannabinoids like CBG into the mix.

As the name suggests, Leafwize Naturals uses all natural ingredients. Even as they add more ingredients, Leafwize Naturals still prides itself on ensuring that there are no unnatural chemicals making it into their final products.

I’ve previously had the pleasure of reviewing CBD oil tinctures from Leafwize Naturals as well as their Harlequin CBD Vape Cartridge. This time, Leafwize Naturals sent over four of their strain specific CBD+CBG vape cartridges for review: Lemon Jack Herer, Cranberry Kush, Mendocino Cherry, and Root Beer.

Leafwize Naturals Lemon Jack Herer CBD+CBG Vape Cart Review

Leafwize’s Lemon Jack Herer CBD+CBG Vape Cartridge comes in a plastic shell with a quick fact sheet featuring Leafwize Naturals’ logo as well as an orange/yellow branding color to symbolize the strain. All in all, the 1ml 510 threaded cartridge contains 522mg of CBD, 180mg of CBG, 58mg of CBN, and even 1mg of CBDV.

What makes the Lemon Jack Herer strain specific effect is the unique terpene profile added into the mix by Leafwize Naturals. Here the featured terps are Terpenolene, Beta-Caryophylene, Ocimene, and Limonene. It’s really these terpenes that bring out the taste and smell of the cartridge. I noted citrus and pine notes with a hint of spice, but it isn’t chem-y or sour-smelling at all.

Leafwize Naturals’ products are a far cry from plain ol’ CBD e-juice, and you’ll feel the difference right away from the very first hit.

I took a 10-second drag to see what this cart was made of. My eyes widened as I exhaled because the flavor was so good, and by the time I had finished exhaling I swear my eyes didn’t go back to their normal size because I was already feeling more awake and alert. The effects of the Lemon Jack Herer are subtle but definitely sativa leaning without the psychoactive factor: I definitely recommend this for daytime use though the presence of CBG and CBN could make it useful at night.

Review: Leafwize Naturals Cranberry Kush CBD+CBG Vape Cart

The Cranberry Kush CBD+CBG Vape Cartridge comes in the same plastic shell accompanied by the branded fact sheet. The colors chosen to represent the Cranberry Kush strain profile range from cranberry pink to darker purple. The Hemp CO2 distillate used contains the same 522mg of CBD, 180mg of CBG, 58mg of CBN, and 1mg of CBDV.

To create the Cranberry Kush strain profile, Leafwize Naturals used Myrcene, Valencine, Limonene, and Linalool. I don’t know the exact ratios, but this blend of terpenes created a very fruity and tropical smell for me that didn’t exactly let me know what to expect once I put the cartridge to my mouth.

I took a ten-second hit of the Cranberry Kush and the fruity smell broke up into other components on the back of my tongue and in my throat. The fruity-ness came out as a distinct berry taste. I felt the Cranberry Kush in my body more than in my mind. My muscles felt relaxed all the way from my toes to the small of my back up to my face.

Leafwize Naturals Mendocino Cherry CBD+CBG Vape Cart Review

The Mendocino Cherry CBD+CBG Vape Cartridge features a red/orange branding for the unique strain profile. For this strain’s terpenes, Leafwize used Beta-Caryophyllene, Humulene, and Ocimene which gives the cartridge a fruity but herbal and almost gassy smell that got me a little excited.

I took a 10-second rip of the Mendocino Cherry cartridge and was impressed by how smooth the hit was. The vapor tasted like cherries but had the distinct herbal-almost-gassy tang that throwing Humulene into the mix brings. Through years of trial and error, I’ve discovered that Humulene is my favorite terpene.

All in all, the Mendocino Cherry was a very pleasant and non psychoactive buzz that I felt in equal parts in my body and mind. Especially in this day and age…

It’s hard to keep stress from creeping into our daily lives, but a strain like this will comfortably lock that nagging bit of anxiousness or that recurrent ache to the far corners of your mind.

Leafwize Naturals Root Beer CBD+CBG Vape Cart Review

The Root Beer CBD+CBG Vape Cartridge by Leafwize Naturals comes in the same plastic shell as the other vape cartridges, but is a little different. The colors chosen are amber to brown just like a foamy root beer, and the fact sheet even features some carbonation to highlight the foaminess. For Terpenes, Leafwize used Limonene, Linalool, and Myrcene.

There’s no two ways around it: This Root Beer cartridge smells distinctly like a mug of root beer. Here, Leafwize Naturals decided not to go with an established strain and offer a classic flavor that would be recognizable to any average Joe or Jane off the street. The result is something that has more mainstream appeal and doesn’t rely on the name recognition of a particular strain.

I took a 10-second rip of the Root Beer CBD+CBG cartridge and was impressed with how well the smell translated to taste. With the initial inhale, I got heavy vanilla notes but on exhale the combined taste of root beer came back out. By the time I had exhaled, a relaxing feeling had started moving its way down my body starting at my forehead. The Root Beer CBD+CBG vape cartridge is really balanced in its body/mind effects and I’d recommend this vape for any time of the day.
